Register to participate The Experimental Social Science Laboratory (ESSL) is a computer laboratory for the experimental study of individual and interactive decision making. Located at SBSG 1240, the laboratory can conduct computer-based experiments of up to 40 subjects, but ESSL also has the capabilities to conduct internet-based experiments. ESSL is available for use by researchers of all social sciences disciplines who conduct experiments according to the standards of experimental economics.

ESSL personnel are affiliated with many departments in the UCI School of Social Science, including Economics, Anthropology, Cognitive SciencesLogic and Philosophy of Science, Political Science, and Sociology, with departments in the School of Social Ecology and Paul Merage School of Business, and also with other organized units on the UCI campus, including the Center for Global Peace and Conflict Studies, the Center for the Study of Democracy, and the Institute for Mathematical Behavioral Sciences.
